Fear Aggressive/Under-Socialized Dog
So, it's only taken me three years... but I finally edited and posted these clips to You Tube.
Watching back I realized how much my technique has improved. I'm always amazed how much every dog teaches you something new. This was also specifically nostalgic as three of the four members of my pack in this video have since passed away. Benito, the Chihuahua is still going strong and loves to teach rude dogs to be respectful of his small but mighty body.
Please send comments:)
Cheers,
Jessica

Happy Holiday Pooch
Tomorrow I will be filming a CBC segment on dogs during the holidays. I have lots of advice on what toys to buy your dogs, how to stop unwanted holiday hound behaviour and how to do dog-safe decorating. I'll be posting the when the segment will be aired shortly. In the mean time feel free to send me questions!!! Cheers!

Toy of the Month- Wobble Kong
Here's my toy recommendation of the month.....
The Wobble Kong
This toy is an excellent way to keep food motivated dogs busy for hours. When your dog is bored and needs something to occupy themselves and an outlet for excess energy, try giving them a Wobble Kong! This toy comes in two sizes, large and small. It unscrews so you can place small treats or kibble inside. There is a hole on the side so when the dog knocks it around with their paws or nose a treat pops out. This is also an excellent way to get your dog to work for his/her meal. Consider throwing in two or three pieces of freeze dried liver as jackpot prizes.
This toy retails for $20-$25 for the large and $15-$20 for the small. I've found it at amazon.ca for less (link below). It's made of a hard plastic so it's fairly hardy.
Happy Wobbling!
