Stay N' Learn at Keshet

This is Silas, alothough he is a giant sucky sweetheart with people he knows and trusts, he has some serious territorial aggression due to fear. His owners were no longer able to leave him with a pet sitter at home and were at a loss of what to do. I have recently developed a working relationship with Keshet Kennels and suggested he go there with some added sessions with me. The first day I wasn't able to make handle him. In fact, even getting close to the kennel door was scary for most the attendants. With some perseverance, behaviour modification and time, I was able to take him out on his second day wearing his muzzle. Debbie, the kennel owner took these photos and sent the message along to this owners. What a great idea:)

Support the Yellow Dog Program!

Support the Yellow Dog Program!

This program is a much needed way of signalling to others that your dog requires spacial respect. Just as some humans require more space than others, so too do some dogs. This program can help avoid unnecessary altercations and discomfort. These yellow ribbon dogs can now be a part of society and their owners can help educate the public and rest easy knowing that their dog won't be set up for failure.
